MTO Safehouse
LOOKING FORWARD with committed hearts, the MTO volunteers distribute food bags and clothing for children and adults at the SAFEHOUSE from 9:00 a.m. until all bags are gone every 2nd & 4th Saturday monthly. We hope to bless those experiencing food insecurity with food and clothing!
Mt. Olive AME Church Food Pantry & Clothing Closet uses the Safehouse of North Greenwood to share the abundant blessings given by God with those in need in our community. We provide emergency food with love and respect to those seeking assistance, aiming not only to address their physical hunger but also to offer kindness and grace to satisfy their spiritual and emotional needs. We believe that by doing so, we are directly responding to God's love for us. As Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in" (Matthew 25:35).
